Spike TV will air selected preliminary bouts from UFC 119, including Matt Mitrione vs. Joey Beltran and CB Dolloway vs. Joe Doerksen, beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 25.
The Spike telecast will run for one-hour, leading up to the 10 p.m. ET pay-per-view portion of UFC 119 which takes place at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In the heavyweight division, former NFL defensive lineman and TUF 10 competitor Matt Mitrione will take on Joey “The Mexecutioner” Beltran.
Mitrione defeated fellow NFL alum Marcus Jones last December on the “The Ultimate Fighter 10” finale card in his first official fight in the Octagon. He followed that up with a dominating performance over Kimbo Slice, winning by second round TKO.
The 28-year-old Beltran is coming off back-to-back wins, defeating Rolles Gracie via TKO at UFC 109 this past February and a three-round decision over Tim Hague in May at UFC 113.
CB Dolloway was a member of Season 7 of The Ultimate Fighter, making it to the finals against Amir Sadollah. He has won four of his five fights in the Octagon, most recently defeating Goran Reljic in February at UFC 110.
Veteran Joe Doerksen has 58 professional fights under his belt, and has won seven bouts in a row. He last competed at UFC 113, choking-out Tom Lawlor in the second round.
Other bouts from the undercard may be broadcast, depending on the length of the first two fights.
UFC 119 takes place on Saturday, September 25 and will be broadcast live on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
