Pics: WEC 47 Aftermath; Bowles and Torres Walk Away Damaged

Brian Bowles and Miguel Torres both walked away from WEC 47 with a quite a bit more than a few nicks and scratches.

After  going two rounds against challenger Dominick Cruz, Bowles was unable to answer the bell for the third round due to a severly broken hand, or at least that’s what he thought at the time.  Bowles posted a picture of the hand in question after the bout, and from the look of it, he was correct.

Former bantamweight champion Miguel Torres was also on the losing end Saturday night, getting submitted by Joseph Benavidez in the second round.  However, prior to the submission, Torres took a vicious elbow to the forehead which opened up a gash that required 20 stitches, which Torres so graciously posted for our viewing pleasure.
