Gary “Big Daddy” Goodridge is making his return to MMA on January 9th when he takes on Ron Sparks at MMA Big Show’s “New Dawn.”
The event also features former TUF competitor Luke Zachrich as he takes on unbeaten Byron Sutton for the light heavyweight title.
Goodridge (23-19-1) has enjoyed a long career in mixed martial arts. Dating back to 1996, “Big Daddy” has fought for the UFC, Pride, K-1 and several other organizations across the world. He has faced some of the top fighters in the game today, including Fedor Emelianenko, Rodrigo Nogueira, and Heath Herring. It will be his first MMA bout since November 2008, and first appearance for the Big Show.
His opponent, Ron “The Monster” Sparks, has yet to be defeated and holds a professional record of 5-0.
