The UFC today announced six bouts set for the undercard of UFC 109 held on February 6th 2010.
Notable matchups include a middleweight showdown between Demian Maia (11-4) and Dan Miller (11-2 1 NC), as well as a lightweight clash between Mac Danzig (19-7-1) and Justin Buchholz (9-4).
Both Maia and Miller are looking to get back in the win column after recent defeats. Maia’s rise in the division took a step back after getting knocked out by Nate Marquardt at UFC 102, which was his first loss as a professional.
New Jersey’s Dan Miller was on a three-fight win-streak before suffering a unanimous decision loss to Chael Sonnen at UFC 98 in May.
Similarly, Danzig and Buchholz have had trouble coming up with victories. Both men have lost three of their last four fights, Danzig’s losses coming consecutively against Clay Guida, Josh Neer, and Jim Miller.
