The 11th season of The Ultimate Fighter will premier on March 31st on Spike.
As we previously reported, UFC president Dana White announced during the TUF Finale that former light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz will be opposing coaches for the new season.
This year’s show will consist of 16 fighters from the 185lb (middleweight) division. The show goes into production in January and will last six weeks. The full cast for the new season will be announced in late February.
Liddell and Ortiz have both previously served as coaches on TUF. Liddell appeared in the first season, while Ortiz coached in season three.
Sticking to tradition, Liddell and Ortiz will face one another at the conclusion of the season.
Liddell and Ortiz first met in 2004 at UFC 47, where Liddell scored a second round technical knockout. They met again in 2006 at UFC 66, Liddell again winning by TKO.
