UFC 106 Fighter Bonuses

The UFC handed out their traditional “Fight of the Night,” Submission of the Night,” and “Knockout of the Night” awards for UFC 106 to the tune of $70,000 each.

Welterweight contender Josh Koscheck came away with both “Submission of the Night,” and “Fight of the Night” honors along with his opponent Anthony Johnson.

After taking a knee to the head while on the ground, which cost Johnson a point, Koscheck came back to submit Johnson in round two with a rear naked choke.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira made a splash in his UFC debut, knocking out Luiz Cane in the first round. He was awarded “Knockout of the Night” for his effort.
