As reported today all over the internet, Fedor Emelianenko has signed a contract to fight for Strikeforce. It seems Strikeforce’s willingness to co-promote with M-1 Global is what enabled them to finalize the deal.
The UFC was unwilling to budge on this matter (and rightfully so) so Fedor again lives to torment UFC fans who have long yearned for the top heavyweight in the world to grace the octagon. No word yet on the length of the contract.
